The Rio Vista Professional Firefighter's Association are mourning the loss of Alex Bosworth, who passed away last Sunday evening in his home. Alex leaves behind his 8-year-old son Isaiah, the mother of their two children, Julia, and his own mother Avis.

Alex, known as "Boz" by his colleagues, served the City of Rio Vista Fire Department for 14 years. Boz started as a Volunteer Reserve with RVFD and was hired as a Firefighter Paramedic and promoted to Engineer. Boz loved working as a Firefighter and serving the citizens of Rio Vista and Delta District. His smile was contagious, and his compassionate, caring nature was felt by all who knew him.
