My name is Stephanie Santini. My boyfriend, Alejandro Escalona, was in a severe car accident in Aruba in the early morning of Monday, October 10th. He suffered multiple blunt injuries to his head and pelvis, resulting in brain bleeds and fractures. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where he underwent frequent neurological checks and testing. His short-term memory has been affected at this point due to his contusion.

Now, he is on the mend to rest and heal. Alejandro has no family on the Island where he currently lives and no health insurance. He has strength, faith, and a lot of people in his corner willing to help him in his time of need. Critical care expenses and hospital admission without health insurance coverage can be overwhelming.
