We are heartbroken beyond words for our Southside family. One of our Tavern babies has been welcomed into the Pearly Gates, and our hearts are heavy with grief. Baby Ellie, just seven weeks old, entered heaven on Wednesday, December 17, surrounded by the love of her parents, Aleia Burkett and Rylan Wiedebusch. Aleia has been part of the Southside Tavern family nearly since the beginning, starting in the kitchen and growing into one of our most dedicated and dynamic servers. She is deeply loved by all of us.

During this unimaginable time of loss and her unexpected absence from work, we are asking our community to help support Aleia and Rylan through financial contributions and needed donations. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses and provide support as they take time away from work to grieve and heal. Southside Tavern will also be contributing in support of their family.
