It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved uncle, Alberto. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and his decline happened far more quickly than anyone could have prepared for. His passing has left our family with saddened hearts.

Alberto lived with schizophrenia, a condition that brought significant challenges but never defined who he was to those who loved him. He was a cherished son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

This loss is especially heartbreaking for our abuela, who has now endured the unimaginable pain of losing four of her five children. No parent should have to experience this level of grief, and yet she continues to face it with strength.

As our family mourns, we are also navigating the unexpected financial burden of funeral arrangements. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and related costs so that we can lay our uncle to rest and relieve some of the stress placed on our family during this painful time.
