support for Alberto while he fights COVID

We are a Colombian couple who came to the USA 19 years ago to remake our lives in this country.  With the desire to work for himself, Alberto started his tourism transport company serving clients in the hotels and resorts of South Florida, developing an interesting market.
With the arrival of the pandemic, the tourism sector was the first to collapse and therefore all the work derived from it.
Alberto with a chronic disease (diabetes) and 60 years of age was highly vulnerable and was infected with COVID-19.
How did it happen?
Alberto applied for unemployment benefits but received no response (still hasn't 4 months into the pandemic) which forced him to go out to work and in this way he became infected.
Today without work and in the ICU, he fights against the virus with the support of the medical team at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL.
Now there is the uncertainty of how to face medical expense; the cases of COVID-19 on the rise and the uncertain future of work.
Today with humbleness we ask for your help to gather enough funds to cover some of the massive health care debt we will face once Alberto recovers.
A forever THANK YOU to all of you who took the time to read our story.
