Our family received devastating news on Friday morning, October 10th. My cousin, Albert Harr, who was only 39 years old, was found deceased in his vehicle at a rest stop in the Chambersburg area. He was heading home to Bedford County after celebrating his daughter’s 5th birthday here in York.

We’re still waiting on autopsy results, so his cause of death is unknown right now. His passing was completely unexpected and has left all of us in shock.

Albert leaves behind his 5-year-old daughter, Avery, and two stepchildren, Lakota (16) and Jada (21). As with any sudden loss, there are expenses that come quickly as we make arrangements to say goodbye. Albert always said he wanted to be cremated, and we’re doing our best to honor that wish.

Albert could be an ass at times, but under all of that, he had a big heart and loved his kids deeply. His loss will impact them in ways that words can’t describe, and any help is truly appreciated.
