On January 9th, my one and a half year old son, Alastor, woke up congested and struggling to breathe. We rushed him to the emergency room, where doctors diagnosed him with the flu and sent us home with a prescription, assuring us his oxygen levels were normal. The next night, Alastor’s breathing became even more labored, so we brought him back to the ER. Shortly after we arrived, he stopped breathing and his heart stopped. The doctors were able to bring him back, and he was transported by ambulance to another hospital. From there, he was airlifted by helicopter to a third hospital for more advanced care.
Since that night, Alastor has been in a coma and is currently on life support. The doctors are still running tests, but right now, they don’t think he is going to make it. We are holding onto hope and staying by his side every moment, praying for a miracle.
The funds from this fundraiser will help our family stay afloat while we take time off work to be with Alastor in the hospital. We also have four other children to care for, and these funds will help cover our living expenses during this incredibly difficult time. I would give anything for my son to just be okay.
If you are unable to donate, please share our page and pray for Alastor. He needs all the prayers he can get. We truly appreciate any and everything people can do for us. Alastor needs a miracle, and I believe that with enough prayers, we can make that happen for him.
