Hi everyone, Our family is navigating an unexpected and difficult season. Since New Year’s Eve, my brother AJ has been in the ICU after a serious case of pneumonia progressed into sepsis. He is currently fully sedated and intubated and receiving intensive medical care. During this time, Vanna has been spending most of her days at the hospital by his side, while also caring for their children and managing their household. With AJ unable to work right now, this has created added strain during an already overwhelming time. Many people have reached out asking how they can help, and we are incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, and support that have already been shown. This GoFundMe was created simply to provide short-term support with everyday expenses while Vanna travels back and forth — housing, utilities, food, gas, childcare, and other essentials — so AJ’s family can focus on being present for him without the added stress of immediate financial pressure.
