Hi everyone, My name is JD, and I run a show called Creepalachia. Today, I’m sharing something more personal than usual—something that hits close to home for our team and our community. You may remember Amber Kidd, who came on the show to speak about her brother, AJ Sloan.

AJ had been missing, and Amber bravely shared his story—his life, his struggles, and his humanity. It was a conversation filled with pain, love, and hope. Sadly, AJ was recently found deceased. While the investigation into what happened is still ongoing, what we do know is that a family has lost a son, a brother, and a father. And his children have lost a piece of their world.

We’re starting this GoFundMe campaign to help Amber and her family lay AJ to rest. The funds will cover the cost for his burial, service, and any other funeral expenses. Anything raised beyond the funeral expenses will go directly to support his kids. I’ll be giving Amber the proceeds of this campaign directly to distribute accordingly.
