Support for AJ Sico after Lapu Lapu tragedy

Our Kuya Adrian (AJ) Sico, a friend to many, but family to us, was one of the victims of the violent attack at the Lapu Lapu event on April 26. AJ has always had a way of bringing even his closest friends into the fold of family. He is now in critical condition, facing severe injuries and a long road to recovery.

AJ has suffered devastating injuries: both of his legs are broken in multiple places, one thigh completely shattered, requiring extensive surgeries with titanium rods and disks. He is also suffering from a lacerated liver, internal bleeding near his aorta artery, brain swelling, trauma to his left eye, and is currently on dialysis.

But through it all, AJ is showing signs of strength and resilience. His brain is responsive to testing, his vitals are stable, and his heart is strong. While there is hope, we still do not know the full extent of the long-term impacts he may face.

AJ isn't just fighting for himself. He’s everyone's big brother, a provider, a friend, and a pillar to many. As a barber, he works with his hands every day to support his family, not just financially, but throughout all other aspects of life. Right now, we don't know when or if AJ will be able to return to work. With anticipated bills, car payments, and everyday expenses, his family needs the help more than ever.
