Recently they both contracted Covid-19. On November 22 Aj was admitted to the hospital due to complications. He was put in a medically induced coma and intubated to help him breathe. And continue to survive. Alyssa has since tested negative and has been visiting him every chance she gets but she is still very weak and can barely function. Just the other day Aj went into cardiac arrest and thankfully he was revived by Hospital staff..If you know Aj, you know this man is a fighter. He never gives up. But right now he needs us. Aj is one of the most up front sincere people I know and this world is a better place because of him. 

Due to this, he and his wife Alyssa are going to face some great financial challenges. Once he returns home it will be quite some time before he can return to his art of making beautiful wood pieces.
