Hello everyone,

We are friends of Aisling and her wonderful boys Ted (9), Sonny (6), and Max (4). As many of you know, Aisling was diagnosed with breast cancer in June, and she is currently unable to work as she undergoes treatment.

As you can imagine, this diagnosis has had an enormous impact on Aisling and her family — emotionally, physically, and financially. Aisling is the main caregiver for her children, and the costs of treatment, daily living, and childcare have created immense pressure during an already incredibly difficult time.

During her diagnosis, Aisling was in the middle of a renovation project on a very old and wonky house. We would love to raise enough funds to help complete some emergency repairs on their home, including the demolition of a dangerous double-height extension, which blocks access to the yard, fixing drainage problems, and repairing broken windows. These improvements will make the home safer and more comfortable for Aisling and her boys during this challenging time.

We want to do everything we can to support Aisling and her boys, and we know that many of you will want to help too.

To raise funds, we have some amazing friends organising three fundraising events:

A Sponsored Skydive — with Oonagh Tighe, Kevin Fitzgerald, Hannah New, Charlotte, Fanni Kürti, Saoirse Harrington, and Sinead Whelan bravely taking the plunge in support of Aisling.

A Fundraising Quiz Night — organised by Ava Tighe, Jack Daly, and the lovely team at Pot Duggans.

Movember Madness! — The lads at Pot Duggans, along with Aindrais De Staic, are going full Tom Selleck this November, growing magnificent moustaches to raise funds and smiles for Aisling and her boys.

All donations, big or small, will go directly towards helping Aisling and her boys with the costs of treatment, household expenses, and the essential repairs to their home while she focuses on recovery.
