My name is Errol, and I am reaching out on behalf of my son-in-law, Aetan Barqero, and my daughter, Kimberly Gardner. Kimberly has been battling stage 4 cancer, and after a long and difficult stay at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, she is coming home on hospice care. The doctors have told us she only has a few days to a few weeks left, and our family is heartbroken.

Aetan has not been able to work for weeks, choosing instead to stay by Kimberly’s side every moment in the hospital. This has left them struggling to pay their bills and facing large credit card debt on top of mounting medical expenses. Our family has done everything we can to support them, but the financial burden is overwhelming, and we are praying for help from anyone who can offer it.

As a father and grandfather, I am scared and just trying to help my son-in-law and my four grandchildren in any way I can. Any support, prayers, or kindness from friends, family, and the community would mean the world to us during this heartbreaking time.
