Adrian Prieto was more than just my uncle—he was like a second parent to me and Darlene. On Friday night, February 13, I found him unresponsive, with my grandmother lying next to him. His passing was sudden, and none of us were prepared for the loss or the responsibilities that followed. Adrian was always the first to offer a helping hand, known for his kind heart and friendly spirit. He dedicated himself to caring for my grandmother, making sure she was never alone or in need, right up until his last day.


Now, as we face the reality of his absence, our family is struggling to cover the costs of his cremation and to ensure my grandmother is cared for during this difficult transition. We were not prepared for these expenses, and the emotional toll has been heavy.
