Support for Adrian & Matthew Cancienne's Memorial

My name is Jennifer Auger. It is with a heavy heart that I share the heartbreaking loss of both my father and brother. Adrian Charles Cancienne (Ace or Shakey) and his son, Matthew Joseph Cancienne (Matt), passed away just days apart. Adrian, born on March 10, 1949, passed unexpectedly on January 30, 2025, at the age of 75. His son, Matthew, born on August 10, 1980, left this world on February 4, 2025, at the age of 44.

Adrian was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who dedicated his career to the railroad before retiring. He was a man of strength, hard work, and deep love for his family. Matthew, a kind and gentle soul, was known for his big heart and the love he had for those closest to him. Their absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved them.

In the midst of this overwhelming loss, the family is struggling with the unexpected financial burden of funeral expenses. Any donation, no matter the amount, would be a tremendous help in laying Adrian and Matthew to rest.

A joint memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate their lives. The family deeply appreciates the love, support, and kindness from those around them during this difficult time. May Adrian and Matthew rest in eternal peace, reunited in love.
