My dear friend, Katybeth Hagler, an ADL teacher at Cowart Elementary, is facing an unimaginable loss after the sudden passing of her husband, Dathan. She is caring for two wonderful children—a daughter (Campbell) in 1st grade and a son (Charlie) in 4th grade, and her husband was a Woodshop teacher at Sam Houston High School.. This tragedy has left their family heartbroken and facing unexpected challenges, both emotionally and financially.

As her friend, I am reaching out to our community to help ease the burden of funeral expenses. The costs are overwhelming, and every bit of support will help her focus on caring for her children and beginning the healing process. She has always been there for her students and her family, and now she needs our help more than ever.
