Hello, my name is Elle Mendiola, and I’m Desa Walls’ best friend.

Desa and her family are mourning the devastating loss of their cherished Adelisa “Addy” Johnson. Addy loved everyone, and she loved life. She was full of joy and laughter, and her light was contagious to everyone around her. She never failed to put a smile on someone’s face.

No parent should ever have to bear the loss of a child. This fundraiser will help offset funeral expenses and related costs during this incredibly difficult time. Funeral service details will be shared once arrangements have been finalized.

As the family grieves and begins to heal, they could truly use the support of their community. Providing meals is a meaningful way to help care for them and allow space for rest, reflection, and togetherness.
