Support for Acadia and Joey After Tragic Loss
Donation protected
Acadia and Joey Kirkpatrick, with their families, are greatly mourning the sudden loss of Zack Kirkpatrick due to a unexpected medical event on February 8th, 2025. This little family has gone through an incredibly traumatic experience and is trying to pick up the pieces.
Their extended family will take care of immediate costs of this loss but also must look forward. We have all received such an outpouring of love and well wishes that we decided to create a fund for Acadia and Joey to help cover Joey's future needs and ease the weight on Acadia as she deals with this loss.
Thank you for offers of condolences, the kind words, and your generosity. You can reach out to Somerset and Jessica privately with any questions or further communication. We love you all.
**** I'm adding some wonderful things said about Zack by John Stevens, from the Kiawah side of Zack's life. They are amazing people, Zack worked with them for decades for a reason! ***
From the Kiawah family who was fortunate enough to call Zack a friend and a brother. Zack left us too soon on 2/8/25, leaving behind his loving wife Acadia and daughter Josephine.
Zack has been a caddie out at Kiawah since Sept. of 2008. In that time, Zack has built long, meaningful relationships with fellow workers and the membership of Kiawah as well.
Zack was one of those guys who was always laid back and made everyone around him feel happy and comfortable. If guys were throwing around sports trivia, he was right in the middle of it. His attitude was infectious with those he talked to. There were many times that someone would be in a bad mood, and once they had a conversation with Zack, they would be walking away laughing.
In writing this, one of the fondest memories that I have of Zack was when he received the announcement of his daughter's arrival. He was so happy that he had tears running down his face just talking about it.
So this is for Acadia and Josephine (Joey) so there is a glimmer of light in this dark time and so they know they have the support of every one of us who was fortunate enough to know Zachary Kirkpatrick. You will be missed.
