We are reaching out with heavy hearts as we share the devastating loss of Abi—a beloved wife and mother, a loyal friend, and an incredibly skilled nurse and colleague. She was the steady center of her family.

In October 2025, Abi was suddenly and unexpectedly diagnosed with inoperable bile duct cancer. Despite her strength and determination, her illness progressed rapidly. Abi passed peacefully after a beautiful day spent surrounded by her family and friends.

Those who knew Abi know exactly who she was at her core—compassionate, steady, and all in, every single time. She spent her life caring for others, both in her work as a nurse in the Thoracic Surgery ICU at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in the quiet, powerful way she showed up for everyone around her. She was the nurse you wanted at the bedside when things felt overwhelming. Her kindness was constant, and her presence brought calm to even the hardest moments.

Above all, Abi’s greatest love was her family.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Griffin, a teacher, and their three beautiful children—Porter (11), Beckett (8), and Phoebe (5).

As they begin to navigate life without their mother, they will need all the love, support, and stability we can help provide.
