Support for Abdullahi Sharif's Family
Our unbelievably kind, sweet Abdullahi has been missing since Friday, January 17th. He was last seen at the Target store in the Merle Hay Mall (where he works) in Des Moines.
We have been trying desperately to find him. He is the most charming, gregarious, and downright incredible boy, and he has a family and community of people feeling the intense agony due to his absence.
Having known him since he was just 4 years old, the hurt is real. He is a part of our family and as such, our family is looking to the broader community for support in assisting his mom and 5 siblings during this difficult time. Still a senior in high school, Abdullahi worked at Target and gave almost all of his pay to his mom to help with household bills. While we will continue to do everything possible to work with the Des Moines Police Department to find Abdullahi, we ask for your support to help his family get through this incredibly trying period of time.
A dollar, five, or anything you can contribute will make a huge difference in ensuring this incredibly strong family is able to eat, keep the lights on and phones in service, and generally plug along while we continue to search.
With more love and appreciation than
words can express,
Emily Levine
**all funds donated will come through me
to be delivered directly to Abdullahi’s
