Hi everyone,

We are raising $10,000 for our brother, Abdo, during a very difficult time for his family.

Abdo’s daughter, Marina, was recently admitted to the hospital for over 2 weeks after falling ill due to a viral infection. Thankfully, she is now back home and recovering — something we are all incredibly grateful for. During that time, Abdo had to step away from his shop to be by her side, resulting in a significant loss of income as the sole provider for his family.

As if that wasn’t enough, while he and his family were at the hospital with Marina, their home was broken into. Valuables were taken, but more than anything, it was the violation of their privacy during such a difficult time that's deeply upsetting.

Abdo is someone who never hesitates to show up for others. He gives, supports, and helps without ever expecting anything in return. In fact, he doesn't want us to do this and wouldn't ask for this — but that’s exactly why we’re doing it.

We want to show up for him.

This fundraiser is our way of giving back, easing the financial burden, and reminding him that he’s not alone.
