This first request for help is for our dog, Abby. I am Abby's owner's fiancée and we are accepting that we will be losing her soon. At this point, I am reaching out of my own accord for help to ease the financial burden we both took on.
Abby has a mass that ruptured in her abdominal area. She is currently stable, but with significantly less time to live.. a few weeks, on average. My other half, Kira, has had Abby as her emotional support animal since Abby was one year old. Abby is now nine.
The mass mentioned above ruptured when she accidentally ingested phosphorous, three days after July 4th. We believe one of our neighbors' fireworks debris got into our yard after they fired off their distribution in our neighborhood on July 6th. The next morning, Abby goes outside to use the bathroom, and within an hour is vomiting and urinating herself, collapsing multiple times from then.
The doctors and aides who helped Abby so far have been wonderful with her. Without them, especially the three dogs who donated blood for Abby's blood transfusion, have given her more time with us. All I ask is that we receive some help to make her final days even brighter, if nothing more than that.
