My son Aaron is 44 years old and has always been a caring, loving person. Recently, his health has taken a devastating turn. He is now suffering from heart failure, respiratory failure, coronary artery disease, and COPD. As his mom, it’s heartbreaking to watch him struggle every day, especially as he battles depression and worries about leaving me alone.

Aaron has just spent another 9 days in the hospital for respiratory failure, and since December of 2024, he has spent a total of 76 days in the cardiac ICU. The bills have piled up, and insurance simply won’t cover everything he needs. He requires home oxygen and a hospital bed to recover after his upcoming bypass surgery on February 17th. On top of that, he needs rides to countless doctor appointments and tests, and he now takes 23 different medications daily just to stay alive. The situation has become dire and very scary for both of us.

As hard as this has been on Aaron and myself, he continues to stay positive and fight to stay here with me and his beloved dog Polo. It's so hard to see him suffering, and now not being able to breathe fully on his own has made the stress and danger just skyrocket. Aaron should be home with his family.
