A friend of my family is facing a very difficult unexpected hardship, and I'm raising funds to help her stay housed and meet her basic needs during this tough time. She is 23, recently divorced, and currently unemployed. With everything happening at once, she has fallen behind on rent and is now facing eviction. She’s also dealing with some medical issues that she needs to address before she can safely return to work, which has made it even harder for her to regain stability. She’s doing her best to get back on her feet, but right now she needs a little support to stay housed and cover basic living expenses while she works toward stability.

The goal amount of $6,000 represents roughly three months of rent, essential living costs, and medical expenses she's currently navigating. This gives her a small but meaningful window of stability while she addresses her immediate needs and gets back to a place where she can support herself again.

I’m organizing this fundraiser to help her bridge the gap. Every contribution — no matter the size — will go directly to her immediate needs.
