My daughter's friend is only 15 years old, and for respectful purposes, I won't name her here because I'm not sure if that's okay right now. She has been in the children's hospital due to a spontaneous brain aneurysm and has already undergone two surgeries in less than a week, with another one scheduled very soon. The cause of her condition is unknown, and she is being kept under sedation until doctors can fix the problem and the swelling goes down.

This all happened so suddenly—she was about to start a round in a video game when she was struck by a severe migraine. My daughter called me, concerned about her friend's disoriented state, and after quickly contacting her parents for permission, we called 911. We soon learned it was a spontaneous aneurysm, and she needed emergency surgery, followed by another procedure to help with swelling and stabilize her enough for an angiogram. Her parents have barely left her side, only going home once to get clean clothes.

I can only imagine the worry and fear her family is experiencing. I don't think it's right for them to face any more hardships than they already are, so I wanted to start this GoFundMe to help reduce their stress. The funds raised will help with everyday needs—paying bills, buying food, doing laundry, and traveling to and from the hospital and future doctor's appointments.
