Recently, a woman connected to our family lost her husband unexpectedly while he was serving as a missionary in Liberia.

As she navigates this season of grief, there are also everyday responsibilities waiting for her at home — including caring for the few acres of land surrounding her home.

The property requires regular mowing, especially during the summer months when the grass grows quickly. Right now she only has a push mower, which makes maintaining the land extremely difficult.

A riding lawnmower would make this task manageable and take a significant burden off her shoulders.

A few of us are coming together to raise funds to help purchase one for her.
