My story started about a year and a half ago when my partner failed his DOT physical due to a heart condition. He was referred to his cardiologist for testing. He had a stress test in March last year. The doctor called the same night of his test and sent him to the hospital. Apparently, he had a heart attack six months prior to them finding out, so his heart was very damaged. He was unable to go back to work, so I took care of him for the year and covered his expenses until he passed. We applied for Social Security disability, and he died before his first payment in November of last year. I unfortunately went through all my savings to take care of him and his medical bills and daily care. I’m 63 years old and have no savings at this point. I’m on disability myself due to multiple medical conditions and have nothing left for a rainy day. Any help will truly be a blessing. Thank you for listening to my story and God bless you all.
