Meet my dear friend, Michelle (Spang) Tweedt, or as I know her, Shelly. I have known her since she was 4 years old, and I was 7. She is the kind of person who is always there for everyone. If ever you had a need, Shell was there. She would drive in a snow storm in the middle of the night to rescue you if your car broke down. She would let you borrow her clothes if you wanted, and she would even help you clean pigeon coops if you asked her. She is a Warrior.

In March of 2020, while accompanying her husband to his doctor’s appointment, she was asked about her cough. A few tests later, she walked out of her husband’s doctor’s appointment with stage 4 lung cancer.

Since her diagnosis she has gone through immunotherapy treatment, chemotherapy, and an anti-cancer medication, to no avail. She is now starting a more aggressive chemotherapy + immunotherapy treatment. With the struggle of treatment, side effects, and medical expenses building up, it has become increasingly difficult for Shell and her family to make ends meet, and she needs our help.

I’m asking for help for this beautiful Warrior, who has always helped everyone else, who has shined her light upon many, and who now needs our support. No amount is too small and would be a huge help. Thank you!
