- My son, a veteran, experienced heart failure in 2015. For 7 years, he fought to get placed on the list for a transplant. In 2022, he was listed and received a heart and kidney. His life was never better until June 2025, when he went into cardiogenic shock, had cardiac arrest twice, underwent CPR for 30 minutes, and is now on life support. We live in Vegas, but he receives care in California. I have to be here for him. My daughter is here for him. Housing is causing a financial hardship. My son has been listed status 1, but we need support, emotional and financial. Please help!

- Marcus received a new heart and kidney on August 25 & 26, 2025 and is going thru recovery at this time.
