I'm starting a GoFundMe because I have been kicked out of my home. I am currently 18 and still in high school, trying to find a way to get my license, a car, and hopefully a place to stay.

My grandmother was my one and only caretaker who chose to kick me out for reasons most won't understand. I wasn’t a bad kid. Most of the problems in our relationship went downhill when I dyed my hair. She called me multiple different slurs when she saw it; her favorite to use was the F-Slur.

Our relationship after that tanked. She would consistently use different slurs or terms to degrade me and picked fights over things that were extremely little.

After being looked in the face and being called homophobic slurs by someone who is supposed to love you, it extremely hurt. This kind of thing happened a lot up to the first time she really wanted me out of her house.

The first time I was being “kicked out” was over my employee discount. My head supervisor told my grandmother she could use it when I was not present at the store location. I had been previously told by upper management that using my discount when I'm not at the store location is prohibited, thus making it wrong to use it if I am not present. My head supervisor gave my grandmother the green light when I was not there, and she “used it.” Later, I got in trouble with one of my managers for my grandmother using it without me being present. This caused a huge fight in my house, and the end result was me having to leave.

She later came back to “apologize” by blaming me for everything and how nothing is her fault at all. I went along with it because I wanted to stay.

The second time (which is currently) we had a huge fight that had to do with me leaving the house was my grandmother and her new man. The man was rude to me when I was on my way out of the house to go hang out with friends. I got home and was told that I was absolutely disgusting and disrespectful, and she couldn’t have me in her home because I was “rude” to her new man. This contributed to her wanting me out of the house.

One of the reasons that really played a toll in my being removed from the home was because she discovered that I had a boyfriend. She is a very stubborn woman who hates everything that has to do with the “gay agenda.” I thought that that was one of the most pitiful reasons to want to kick someone out.

Now I sit here. Any amount of money, even if it is very small, will help me in a big way. All the help I can get is very appreciated.
