A close friend is experiencing a financial crisis and needs community support. She is a Black immigrant woman and survivor of domestic and interpersonal violence. She is unable to get any support from her family because she had to leave that situation for her own physical and emotional safety. She needs community to come through for her right now and be that support system and safety net she has never had. She needs survival funds, specifically money for rent and to pay off her car. All donations will go directly towards this support while she is working as many odd jobs as she can and vigorously looking for more sustainable work.
