after a family conflict, i’ve been told i need to leave my home by the end of this week. over the past few months, i’ve been couch-surfing and intermittently living out of my car while trying to stay enrolled in school and working when i can.

i now have an opportunity to secure stable housing, but i’m short on the funds needed to get a reliable car. where i live, transportation is essential for work and school, and without a vehicle, it becomes very difficult to stay housed.

my goal is to raise enough for a down payment and initial costs on a modest used car so i can continue working, attend classes, and move forward independently.
