I never imagined I’d be making a GoFundMe post, but here I am — humbly asking for help. On July 9th, my son was tragically stabbed in the heart while on summer vacation. Our entire world changed in an instant.

I received a call no parent should ever get — my son had coded twice and doctors didn’t know if he had 24 hours. I was 8 hours away, praying with everything in me. But God is faithful, and my son gave the trauma team a reason to keep fighting. And they did.

We now face a long road to recovery. He will be airlifted from Louisiana to Tennessee for long-term acute care and eventually rehabilitation. As you can imagine, none of this was expected, and we were not prepared.

We are asking for prayers, shares, and support as we navigate this journey. Anything helps, whether it’s a donation or simply spreading the word. Most of all, we ask that you pray my son gets strong enough to walk across the stage with his SENIOR CLASS of 2026.
