I am a single mom of 4 teenage kids. I have run my own dog grooming business out of my home for the last 5 years. The last 2 years, I have encountered many health issues, including kidney cancer that was successfully removed. I have had to have 3 surgeries over the last 2 years. Now, because of other ongoing issues, I am having to give up my business starting in April because it is just too physically taxing and painful to continue.

Because I will be losing more than half my income, I am filing for bankruptcy and will lose my house because it will be outside my means to keep. I will have to move in with my parents along with 2 of my 4 children that are still living with me until I can figure out where to go from there.

I am asking for help with ongoing medical bills, car payments, insurance, and other cost of living expenses for myself and my children until I can get back on my feet and I'm able to get a full-time job after hopefully getting my health issues resolved.

UPDATE: I am still recovery from surgery but still not able to work full time. Now on top of everything else, my ex husband is suing for custody of my youngest son who has lived with me his whole life. I need a lawyer and have found one but of course his retainer fee is not something I can afford on my own and I need help with attorney fees. Thank you to everyone who has donated already.
