Our family is reaching out with heavy hearts after a devastating house fire destroyed my sister’s home, leaving her and her eight children with nothing. She is a dedicated and hardworking single mother who has always done everything in her power to provide a safe, loving, and stable environment for her kids. In a single moment, that home—and everything inside it—was taken from them.
At the time of the fire, six of her children were inside the house. It was a terrifying and traumatic experience, but by God’s grace, they were able to escape safely. My sister and one of her children were at work when it happened, and another child was with me. While we are incredibly thankful that every single child is safe, the emotional impact of this tragedy is something they will carry with them for a long time.
The fire completely destroyed their home and all of their belongings. They have lost clothing, shoes, school supplies, beds, furniture, personal items, and cherished memories—things that cannot be replaced. Right now, they are facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from nothing while trying to maintain some sense of normalcy for the children.
My sister is now working to secure safe housing for her family and provide for their immediate needs, but the road ahead is going to be extremely difficult. With eight children depending on her, the cost of rebuilding their lives—finding a new home, replacing essentials, and covering everyday expenses—is simply more than she can manage alone.
We are asking for any support you can give during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go directly toward housing, clothing, food, school necessities, and helping this family begin to rebuild their lives after this heartbreaking loss. No amount is too small, and every bit of kindness truly makes a difference.
If you are unable to donate, we completely understand and ask that you please share this fundraiser to help us reach others who may be able to help. Your prayers, support, and compassion mean more to us than words can express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with my sister and her children as they begin the long journey toward healing and rebuilding.
