I am a recently retired single African American female, mother of two, and grandmother of ten. Until recently, I have worked all my life (58 years). I am 73 and can't make ends meet without borrowing funds from friends and family. My pride is now at an end. I thought I would try this before going back into the workforce. I also have several medical conditions that have become worse over time, so really going back to work at this time is really not a good idea. So I thought I would seek this avenue.

I live in Texas. I hear about funds being given to individuals that are not born in America, and it makes me sad that I am not even that privileged! Any help that I receive here is greatly appreciated.
