This is hard for me to share because I am well-educated and I work as a nurse. I recently fell victim to an online job scam that has left me struggling financially.

I now realize there were warning signs I missed...

I've taken steps to make sure this doesn't happen again...

I fully take responsibility for trusting something I didn't fully verify, but this situation has had a serious impact on my financial stability.

I'm doing everything I can to recover. I have contacted my bank, but because it was converted to bitcoin, there is little to no hope to retrieve my money. I have reported the company to the Federal Trade Commission and the Internet Crime Complaint Center.

Right now, I'm focused on staying afloat—keeping my home and vehicle, and repaying my family and friends who helped me.
