I’m starting this GoFundMe to help a close friend of mine who has recently been through a lot and could really use some support.

My friend was born with only one hand. Despite that, he has always worked hard, stayed positive, and never let it define or limit who he is. He does the best he can with what he has, even when things are much harder for him than most people realize.

Recently, his life took an unexpected turn. While driving, he hit a patch of black ice and lost control of his truck. The truck flipped, and inside with him were his girlfriend, his best friend, and his girlfriend’s little brother. Thankfully, everyone survived. They were all shaken up, bruised, and sore, but we are beyond grateful that no lives were lost.

Unfortunately, his truck was completely totaled.

That truck wasn’t just transportation — it was how he got to work and how he supported himself. Because of his disability, working on or repairing a wrecked vehicle is extremely difficult, and in this case, impossible. He has no choice but to find another truck. On top of that, he and his family are already struggling financially, working hard but not having the kind of job or income that allows them to bounce back from something like this easily.

Right now, he’s stuck. He needs a reliable truck to get back on his feet, but the funds just aren’t there.

That’s why I’m asking for help.

Anything donated — big or small — will go directly toward helping him get a dependable truck so he can continue working and moving forward. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.

We’re incredibly thankful that everyone walked away from the accident alive. Now we’re just trying to help my friend rebuild after losing something so important to his daily life.
