Help a Mother of Two Fight for Her Life After a Devastating Motorcycle Accident

We are asking for prayers, support, and help for the mother of my two children, who was involved in a catastrophic motorcycle accident that has changed our lives in an instant.

After the accident, she was rushed by LifeFlight to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where she remains in the ICU fighting for her life. Her injuries are severe and extensive. She has suffered traumatic injuries to nearly every bone from the neck down and has already endured multiple major surgeries.

One of the most critical procedures was open-heart surgery to repair her aortic valve—a life-saving operation that speaks to the seriousness of her condition. In addition, her leg injuries alone required an extraordinary amount of surgical intervention: doctors performed an initial temporary repair on Monday, followed by an additional surgery on Tuesday to properly fit and stabilize the leg. Those procedures totaled approximately 18 hours of surgery for one leg, and this is only the beginning of a very long and uncertain road to recovery.

She will remain hospitalized for an extended period of time and will require ongoing surgeries, intensive rehabilitation, and around-the-clock medical care. The emotional, physical, and financial toll of this tragedy is overwhelming.

At the same time, we are doing everything possible to support our two children, whose world has been turned upside down. They need stability, care, and reassurance while their mother fights for her life. Funds raised will help cover medical expenses not covered by insurance, one of the biggest things would be the amount dental work she will need. And rehabilitation costs, travel and lodging for family, daily living expenses, and support for the children during this incredibly difficult time.
