Support For a Mother & Daughter Displaced By a Fire
Donation protected
On early Sunday morning, my cousin and her daughter were awakened by hard knocks on their front door. Startled, she woke up and immediately ran to see who was at the door. Before she could ask who it was, she heard the voice of her neighbor say, "Get out of the house.., your roof is on fire." She quickly grabbed her 7-year-old daughter, got what she could, and immediately left her house. In a matter of minutes, the house she was born in, the house her daughter was born in, and the house her parents worked so hard for went up in smoke. As traumatizing as that was, we are beyond grateful that they were able to get out alive. The house is uninhabitable, and she is now in the hard process of rebuilding. So many memories, pictures, treasures, all gone in a matter of minutes. Although they lost a lot, they are beyond grateful and give all glory to God. They will recover and we pray to God for their strength and endurance during this hard time.
We are asking for your benevolence as we aim to help them start over. Any donation is welcomed. We appreciate you in advance and we thank you for your support.
