After my release from the Tacoma detention center where I experienced immense trauma including the separation from my children I am now raising funds to pay my bond loan so that I can continue to stay with my children. Unfortunately due the immense trauma I needed to get out as soon as possible to be reunited with my children who were experience mental health impacts due to this separation. For this reason I had to rely on community members to help pay for my bond leaving me indebted to this community and now some of these members are in need themselves and requesting me pay them back as soon as possible. Having this debt has caused me significant anxiety and stress especially having to stay housed and paying other bills I also owe. This is even more challenging as a single mom facing life after detention.

Tras salir del centro de detención de Tacoma, donde viví varios traumas inmensos, incluyendo la separación de mis hijos, estoy recaudando fondos para pagar mi fianza y así poder seguir al lado de mis hijos. Lamentablemente, debido al trauma, necesitaba salir cuanto antes posible para reunirme con mis hijos, quienes sufrían problemas de salud mental a causa de esta separación. Por esta razon, tuve que recurrir a la ayuda de la comunidad para pagar mi fianza lo mas pronto posible, lo que me ha generado una deuda con ellos. Ahora, algunos de estos miembros también necesitan ayuda y me piden que les devuelva el dinero lo antes posible. Esta deuda me ha causado mucha ansiedad y estrés, sobre todo al tener que pagar mi vivienda y otras facturas. Esto se vuelve aún más difícil para mí, ya que soy madre soltera y me enfrento a la vida después de detención.
