Support for a Loving Mother's Final Journey With Cancer

My mom’s name is Cheyenne Avilla she is 48 years old. Her battle with cancer began in 2015 with radiation. She was first diagnosed with a rare but extreme cancer called sarcoma and had surgery. The cancer then spread, and she was diagnosed with liver and colon cancer, both at stage 4. After more than 10 years of fighting, doing surgeries, radiation, and intensive chemotherapy, her body has finally given up. She arrived at the hospital on October 30th for extreme swelling. She has now been diagnosed with complete liver failure, which has spread to her kidney, and now has kidney failure as well. She now has to have a tube drain her liver and kidneys daily with a drainage tube to drain the cancer that is swelling up and building up in her body. She is now put on hospice and has to have full assistance care 24/7. She was given word that she had three months to live on September 9th. She is no longer able to move or walk due to the severe swelling of the cancer. Since being in the hospital and hearing this new status, they have given her an expectancy of weeks to a month to live or less.

Our goal now is to make my mom as comfortable as we can during her last moments, and to raise money to pay for medical expenses and funeral costs. My mom’s last wish is to be buried at a mortuary so she has a place where we can go to visit her and feel connected to her. We are humbly asking for money to help with medical expenses for hospice care and medical supplies, as well as funeral expenses. My mom is a single mother of 5 kids and has worked 2 jobs to provide for us, working days on end just to provide for us. update: my mom is now currently unresponsive & unable to talk . She is in & out grunts at most. Her skin is yellow & she is given a couple days at most .
