My mother, the beautiful, happy lady in the picture, faces financial stress with extra medical expenses. She would never ask you directly for help, much less financial help. She would rather encourage others, provide for them until she was financially unable to, and then find other ways to help. This is her way. She has always worked tirelessly, sometimes two jobs at a time. She raised three children while teaching and getting her master's degree. Recently, she was diagnosed with malignant Mesothelioma. It is still somewhat of a mystery as to how this horrible and incurable disease is her diagnosis. She's retired from working in schools now, and from the realtor position she pursued after teaching.

Her children are asking for help for her so she does not have to go into debt and lose the house she and my dad worked so hard for. We've been counseled that it can be overwhelming to face all of the extra expenses while trying to get well. So, we are pursuing all avenues for funding, including reaching out to friends and neighbors. At this time, if you could spare a few dollars, it would be very much appreciated. My prayer is that it will come back to you tenfold if you can donate to this fund.
