My younger brother has always put others first. Throughout his life, he has opened his heart and home to children in need, serving as a foster parent and eventually adopting four children of his own. Now a proud grandfather to four beautiful grandchildren, his life's work has been dedicated to supporting families and advocating for children facing everyday challenges. He has never asked for anything in return, always giving selflessly and inspiring those around him with his compassion and strength.

Recently, my brother has been facing a battle of his own. After bravely fighting colon cancer and experiencing a period of remission, the cancer has unfortunately returned and spread to his lungs. This has brought new challenges and mounting medical expenses, many of which are not covered by insurance. In addition to the cost of treatments, he now faces everyday expenses like transportation back and forth to the hospital, which add up quickly and create additional stress during an already difficult time.
