The Hurdle: Choosing Family Over My Career
Two years ago, my life changed instantly when my father suffered a severe accident. To become his full-time caregiver and help him navigate a severe battle with alcohol addiction, I had to make the painful choice to put my CPA (Certified Public Accountant) studies on hold. Managing his rehabilitation and keeping our home stable has been an exhausting, around-the-clock responsibility.
The Setback: A Natural Calamity
To support my family while staying close to home, I poured my savings into starting a small local business. Unfortunately, a recent natural disaster completely devastated the business, wiping out my investments and leaving us with unexpected debt and no source of income.
Where the Funds Will Go
I am a hardworking person who wants nothing more than to get back on my feet, support my family, and finally finish my accounting qualifications. I am raising funds to cover our absolute basic living necessities over the next few months while I rebuild. Your donations will go directly toward:
Rent & Housing Stability: [$1000]
Utilities & Groceries: [$400]
Emergency Debt Relief: [$18000]
Every single dollar helps buy my family the breathing room we need to survive this crisis. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing my link with your network. I will be forever grateful for your kindness, and I promise to pay this generosity forward to others once I am a practicing CPA.
