Support for a Gavi's Medical bills

Dear cherished friends and family,

As I sit down to write this, my heart feels heavy, but it’s also filled with hope because of the love I know surrounds us. I find myself in a challenging chapter of life, and with deep vulnerability, I reach out to you for support.

For the past 16 months, my dear brother has been fighting a relentless battle in the hospital, facing significant health challenges that have shaken the very core of our family. Each day has been a testament to his strength and resilience, but it has also taken an emotional and financial toll on all of us who love him so dearly. We have done everything we could to avoid asking for help by paying what we can towards his medical bills. His insurance has taken care of some of the cost which has accumulated over $410,000 we must still pay a percentage out of pocket. Since his disability has not been approved it's been a big struggle for our family financially.

Now, as we navigate this storm together, I’ve found myself facing my own health struggles. I’m currently undergoing treatment for the infected prostate abscess, liver and vascular issues. While I am fortunate to have health insurance that covers 75% of the bill I still have mounting medical bills i must pay out of pocket, adding an extra layer of stress during this already difficult time.

It’s in moments like this that I truly understand the power of community and the incredible bonds we share as a family. I would never want to ask for help lightly, but the weight of our situation has led me to the realization that it’s okay to lean on those who care and are able to help.
