Hi everyone, I am reaching out for help concerning my mother’s home that was impacted by Hurricane Helene. Unfortunately, 6 feet of storm surge entered their home and it is a total loss. All of their belongings inside the home are also ruined. This includes furniture, clothes, appliances, sentimental items, and much much more. The property was not insured due to the rising flood insurance rates affecting Florida, so it is a complete and devastating loss. My mother cannot afford to start from scratch, so I am asking for assistance to help her start over and afford a new place to live. Rebuilding in this home is not an option. My brother, who is a senior in high school, and sister, a freshman in college, also live with my mom and lost everything as well. Thank you for any help you can provide.
