There is a friend of mine whose family has been through a lot the last few years. A premature delivery of their baby boy who’s growth & health was compromised at 27 weeks - and has had to have ongoing surgeries and regular therapy, and doctor visits etc to address his needs and concerns. More recently - to top it off- their next baby girl was born and rushed to the Emergency Room with breathing issues just to find out that a part of her diaphragm was missing and her organs were squished up into the chest cavity. More NICU time and surgeries and another sweetheart in need of regular doctor care and follow-ups and therapies. We want to do what we can to help them with ongoing doctor bills and long term care, and if possible some needed relief for the family!
