A Mother Saved Her Children From a Devastating Fire — Now She Needs Our Help to Rebuild

What began as a normal day quickly turned into a life-changing emergency. A neighboring home caught fire unexpectedly, and within minutes, flames and smoke spread to my home. I was inside with my three children when the fire became dangerously close. With no time to think, I did what any loving parent would do: I ran through smoke-filled rooms, fighting through heat and fear, to grab my children and get them out safely.

Thanks to my courage and quick action, my children survived — but the emotional and physical toll has been overwhelming.

By the time the fire was contained, everything we owned was lost. Our home, clothing, furniture, school supplies, and sentimental belongings were destroyed. We also lost our family pet. The place we once felt safe and secure is now gone.

What Our Family Is Facing

I am doing everything I can to stay strong for my children, but the reality is difficult:

• We have no furniture or household essentials

• My children lost all their clothing, toys, and personal items

• Important documents, photos, and memories were destroyed

• We are now displaced, trying to rebuild from nothing

All of this happened right before the holidays. While the trauma of the fire will take time to heal, I appreciate everyone's help in ensuring we don’t face the financial burden alone.
