I am a massage therapist and one of my clients of seven years had to move from her townhouse because of a sale by the owner. She is a small business owner, also working full-time, and a mother of a four-year-old, 14-, and 16-year-old. They are currently staying with a friend whose lease is up January 31.

Last week, the transmission in her car died. The dealership gave an estimate of $10,000 with a minimum 30-day wait for the transmission. She is renting a car so she can work, but money is running out, and they will also lose their home at the end of the month. They need help to move into the new apartment but can't accept the new apartment without a vehicle to get to work.
